Prayer for the married couple

you our lives, our family and our relationship, in
order to claim your holy blessing. We ask that you
fill our hearts with your love and that you help us
to grow and mature as husband and wife, so that
we may glorify your Holy Name.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you
would pour your love over the wounds that we have
caused which have decayed our love for each other.
We ask that with your love we might construct a
union amongst ourselves ever-stronger and everholier.
To your name we dedicate our health, our
projects, our finances, our intimacy, and our relationship
to the people around us. Let our actions
be a testimony to you in front of all the couples
that we have the opportunity of interacting with.
Thank you for the gift of marriage, and for every day you give us to love each other with sincerity, to forgive each other, and to make our relationship grow and flourish.
